Our Mission
The Digital Ophthalmic Society (DOS) is a not-for-profit society whose mission is to create a thought engine centered around novel digital solutions with applicable clinical integration. The ophthalmic world is now moving at an unparalleled and unprecedented speed. It is time to provide a distinguished society of ophthalmic surgeons who can think and act as quickly as the culture itself.
With advanced topic lectures, protocol development, peer-to-peer engagements, and practice education, the society will aid in the advancements of ophthalmic surgery through the implementation, adoption, and evolution of platforms such as digital surgical visualization, digital health solutions, image guidance systems, telemedicine, and various other emerging technologies. By cultivating group expertise and experience the society will help each member hone their skill-set and provide the necessary tools in order to stay one step ahead.
